Yala peak 5500m is popular trekking peak in Langtang region. Yala peak is easy and suited for anyone with trekking experience but good physical fitness is required. It offers superb Himalayan views including the Lantang Lirung, Dorje lakpa, Ganesh Himal, Naya kanga peak, gangchempo, Shishapangma. Lantang valley trekking.Probably Yala peak is easiest peak for climbing very closed from kathmandu valley. We establish base camp on a meadow at 4800 m and climb Yala Peak the next day. The last 400 m is on ice so we will be using all climbing gears . From the summit we can see Shishapangma (8046 m) and the fluted Gangchempo (6388 m). After summit the yala peak, you either direct Dhunche or via Gosainkund pass trekking to Helambu .
Day 01: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi 5.30-6.30 hrs
Day 02: Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel (2480m)
Day 03: Lama Hotel to Langtang valley (3541m)
Day 04: Rest at Langtang valley (3541m)
Day 05: Langtang valley to Kyangjin Gompa (3900m)
Day 06: Rest at Kyangjing Gompa/Hiking vew point.
Day 07: Kyangjin Gompa to Yala Base Camp (5033 m.)
Day 08: Climb and back to Kyangjingompa
Day 09: Weather day.
Day 10: Kyangjin Gompa to Ghora tabela
Day 11: Ghora Tabela to Syabru Besi
Day 12: Syabru Besi to Kathmandu

Himalayan RST will provide the technical climbing equipment, including: harness, axes, helmets, crampons, Carrabins, ropes and base camp camping and cooking equipment. You will need to supply the following personal equipment. If you do not have the following equipment you can rent it when you arrive in Kathmandu. Our office staff will take you to one of several quality trekking rental stores.
